A sad day today as Waterboatman is being laid to rest.

As a point of interest I have heard that Boaty's funeral was a very quiet affair with only eight mourners attending. None of his family or Vera's attended.

I would have liked to have been there but unfortunately had to be elsewhere.

R.I.P dear friend. I will remember you - you were so good to me when I needed care.

Sad miss he did GMEB for so long and had a lot of followers on it. You felt as if you knew him and all about him and Vera. All his trips on the boat working. RIP waterboatman
