Seems that one of Queen Victorias sons was the real Ripper but we will never know or he hired someone to do it because he got one of the prostitutes pregnant.
I think it's that young copper - Kent. The one who looks as though butter wouldn't melt, and the one who ran to get the new D.I. a pencil sharpener on his first day at school (sorry , office).
Definitely Kent - it's the innocent-looking ones who turn out to be the worse.
Hi salla. He got the new DI some chalk, not pencil sharpener. and I don't think it's him, although I think it might be one of the coppers who is involved, not actually the killer, but an accomplice. wasn't it Kent though who found the cctv image of the van leaving the scene of the crime?
I dunno really daniela - I was still half asleep when I read this thread & thought : who's that nice looking young one - Ah Kent - ergo, it must be him.
Chalk - I stand corrected !! I knew it was something school-ish!
Very difficult but only one posibly in the frame is young chief's jealous no2 officer. In the first episode, after leaving pub he said he was going for a "slash" and disappeared down an alleyway. The body was later found. Why did he not go back into the pub for his "slash"? He later said to the new chief that the theory was right but grinned saying "all you have to do is find out who did it?" Almost definitely wrong but think ripper expert is innocent - but being the Met they look for a scapegoat rather than the criminal.
