avatars have evolved into an intelligent life form. They do it themselves.


Really there is a rumour that Gravatar has some problem with randomly changing avatar images.

There is a long thread on here somewhere about it.

Happens to me too. Like Howard says, gremlins in the system! It'll change back :)

I had a blank square and a red cross yesterday, but I'm back to my glorious self now. btw I tried to sign on to Gravatar tonight and my login wouldn't work, I can't remember what it was now.
